Dom and Anna’s story began in the summer of 2018. After a chance introduction through Dom’s roommate, they quickly discovered a spark. At the time, both were finishing their Mechanical Engineering degrees. Anna lived in Dearborn and Dom in Ann Arbor. So, much of their early relationship was spent over weekend visits and study sessions.

In 2019, Dom accepted a position with Howmet Aerospace, embarking on a rotational program that took him to Georgia, Tennessee, and Whitehall, MI. For two years, Dom and Anna embraced the challenge of long distance, growing their connection through weekend trips, calls, and FaceTime conversations.  

When Dom returned to Ann Arbor in September 2021, he and Anna moved in together. Dom joined Anna working at TEI, where they continue to this day. Soon after settling into life under the same roof, they set out on the exciting search for their first home. Finally, after months of searching in a competitive housing market, they bought their perfect first home in Ann Arbor and moved in on October 20, 2022. 

On June 2, 2023 Dom and Anna welcomed their sweet cat, Peach, into their home. Peach joined Nellie, their rescue cat who Dom had adopted on March 1, 2021, while living in Whitehall. With the addition of Peach, the household felt complete. Life with two cats has brought so much joy, laughter, and love into their home. 

On July 5, 2025, Dom planned a sweet and thoughtful proposal. In the quiet of their own backyard, he prepared a cozy private picnic and asked Anna to marry him. She, of course said yes! The evening was completed with a celebratory dinner in downtown Ann Arbor at Tabe.
